The Chop House, famed for its live music nights, is hosting an Evening with Kappa on Saturday, 3rd October to beat the new curfew!
Doors at the bar, on Scarisbrick Avenue in Southport town centre, will open at 5pm with food served between 6pm and 7pm.
The band will play between 7.15pm and 9.30pm before closing at 10pm.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson yesterday announced a series of measures to bring down Coronavirus cases, including a new 10pm curfew for bars, restaurants, cafe, takeaways, cinemas and other hospitality businesses.
Chop House owner Carl White said: “Due to the new and updated Government guidelines we are having to change the way we deliver live music and entertainment. So we are going old school!
“We are running an evening with the bands on a Saturday night, a showcase that incorporates live music, food and drink, all together in a package for £35 per person.
“We have outsourced a caterer and will include seven drinks vouchers. An example of how we have costed this is: food = £10 per person, seven drinks, ie if you chose seven double JD & Cokes that would normally be £35, plus your entertainment for free!
“Our main focus is to keep live music free to you and in this way we can all benefit.
“We need to roll with what we have at the moment and I want our customers to continue enjoying our venue.
“Booking will be required, through Facebook please, and it’s a first come, first served basis.
“We look forward to seeing you as always!”
